What is Account linking?

Account linking refers to get your bank accounts connect with the app to display their balances and transactions.

How to link (connect) your accounts?

There are 2 major methods to link your accounts, both through a consent flow. Learn more about consent here.

Which the app version this feature is available?

Having your accounts connected with the app is a fundamental task that enables the money management function to work for you. This function is available on any app version.

Did you know?

You can link your account with the Frollo app without entering any banking credentials. All you need is to give Frollo consent to access your data from your bank*.

* This refers to Open Banking method. Learn more here.

How Account linking works in the app?

  • After you give Frollo consent to access your data, we will securely request and receive your data from the bank or from the aggregator.

  • With the Open Banking method, the consent has a start date and an end date. If you don't renew your consent before the expiry date, it will expire and Frollo will delete all the data that associated with the consent, including your categorisation and personalisation.

  • Frollo will remind you before the expiry date so you won't forget to renew it.
