How you will benefit
Starting from version iOS 3.29.0 and Android 2.33.0, the Frollo app lets you log in using your existing email or social accounts like Google, Apple, or Facebook.
This change allows you to sign in faster and more easily—whether you're using your mobile or desktop.
After updating, simply log in again using the same credentials you use today—just once.
If your social account and your Frollo email match, you can now log in with your social account
All your data, personalisation, and customisation will be retained.

Q: Why I don't see my data after I 'Sign in with a social account'?
Q: Why I don't see my data after I 'Sign in with a social account'?
A: If you use the same email address you registered with Frollo on your social account, and you use the correct social account that is associated with your email address, Frollo will merge your email and your social account into one, and you can use either your email or your social account to login. Your data is retained in the system.
But if you use a different email address on your social account (or if you select a different social option), Frollo will not be able to merge your email and your social account, therefore you don't see any data after you 'Sign in with a social account'. You just need to simply login with your email & password to access your data again.

Q: What happens if am not able to open my email to get the reset password link from Frollo?
A: Unfortunately, if you are an existing user, who registered Frollo with an email address, accessing your inbox is crucial to reset your Frollo account password.
Tips: Did you know you can update your Frollo email in the Frollo app? You should do this before we release the new version of the app. Simply go to your profile in the Frollo app, update your email and verify the new email. Make sure you can access your new email inbox (so that you can verify the change). When done, your Frollo account will be associated with the new email, and if you forget password, you can always reset it.
Q: Login with Apple id: Why I don't see my Frollo account is merged with my Apple login even though I'm sure I am using a same email?
Q: Login with Apple id: Why I don't see my Frollo account is merged with my Apple login even though I'm sure I am using a same email?
A: This is highly a scenario when you are using this setting on your Apple id: 'Hide My Email'.
By using this setting, Apple is sending Frollo a masked email address rather than your real email. Therefore, the Frollo system is unable to match your Apple account with your Frollo account.
To be able to use your Apple id logging in your existing Frollo account, both email of your Apple id and your Frollo account have to be exactly the same. You may want to turn off your Apple id setting for 'Hide My Email' for this purpose.
Q: I use my Apple id to sign up with Frollo, why it shows it shows a different email address in my profile??

A: This is highly a scenario when you are using this setting on your Apple id: 'Hide My Email'.

You can find the masked email on your Apple id settings.
When raising a ticket with Frollo, you have to provide this masked email to our support team so that we can identify you in the system.
